Just wishing that there was either support for customizing the pre-gen source templates (please) or the ability to somehow save changes to UI and code behinds beyond the first generation cycle.
One example (of many) is the Command Button links on the Add_xxxx.ascx I don't see any way to edit these within MB, but even if I could and decided to customize these, they would be overwritten anytime I regenerated the module to make some other change.
Little things like this eat away at the efficiency of a tool like MB and start to make it look less helpful helpful at times.
I think you have a good thing here, but in order to be the most productive that we can be, we have to be able to make further customizations within MB, but at the same time preserving any customizations made directly to the source code. Right now that is a one-way trip.
Perhaps a comprise might be to include some way to selectively generate only those parts that you need to edit from within MB and also allowing you to opt-out on changes to those parts you do not want overwritten.

Thanks Eric.
The enhancements being made right now for the next version include much more control over the add form. Since it's the only non-Templateable piece of the module. We're includeing control over the command buttons, workflow and other things.
Your request to have control over the pre-gen templates and code has been expressed by several people. We're working to come up with the means to provide this ability. I can't give you any timeline for this as it's an incredibly involved development.

I totally understand. You guys have been so responsive to the needs of the community that I have no doubts that if there is a way to do this, you guys will figure it out and make it work. In the mean time, I look forward to having more control over the Add tempate.
