What is DNN Module Builder?

DNN Module Builder is a simple-to-use program that allows you to create powerful customized data-driven modules and applications for your DotNetNuke website.

It allows you to create any web-based form for data collection and templateable web-based output for data presentation. You can create anything from a complex forum application, a video upload application or a simple survey that is completely customized to your needs.

DNN Module Builder is for anyone with basic DNN familiarity who wants a simple way to build complex custom modules.  If you can install and configure the Text/HTML module then you can create amazing custom modules with DNN Module Builder.

What makes Module Builder different?

• Modules can be generated as a Private Assembly (PA) that can be directly installed in any number of portals

• Modules can also be generated as a .Net project folder for further customization.  You can use free tools such as the Visual Web Developer software from MS to add your own personal touches to the module source code.
• After installation, every module presents the Template Manager in the module settings, for controlling the look and feel of your module from a simple interface.
